A view of Richmond  Castle from the river The Bridge across the Swale at Richmond There are some really lovely old buildings everywhere you look in Richmond Bow fronted windows on a street of Georgian houses  Looking across to the old mill at Aysgarth  where they filmed A Woman Of Substance. A view over the Dale at Reeth The Weir at Richmond on the river Swale Me sitting on the Steps of the Old Cross at Askrigg with the house that was used in  the TV series ,All Creatures Great and Small.  We have visited Richmond many times in the past but this was the first time we actually found the    Falls and the area down at the bottom of the castle.

Snow on this Beech Hedge and down the Lanes behind our village of New Longton. The teasels I left in the garden   Looking up the back garden, just a light covering of snow Well here's the reason I dashed back to the local shop for digestive biscuits! The path through the woods , were you can see and hear Nuthatches and Woodpeckers. Add caption A female Nuthatch Here is the More brightly coloured  Male
